Tea Passages

The Palpable Texture of Tea

Series 1: Pu’er Tea

“Unlike traditional ink paintings, tea paintings have a palpable texture that allows for an expanded range of expression. Pu’er Tea leaves tend to clump into fibrous, sometimes prickly, formations that I like to regard as gestural landscapes.”

This selection of tea paintings, on ‘archival watercolor paper’, are mounted with acid-free boards and display mattes. They come in wood box-frames with plexiglass fronts, and are ready to hang with pre-installed sawtooth hooks. They can be hung individually or in arranged groups.
